  • We accept, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED BELOW.  NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOLU ARE BUYING PRIOR TO CHECKOUT.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

SHIPPING

The Old Soldier only transfers firearms to FFL holders.

All firearms ship free to the continental US.  Alaska and Hawaii will incur an additional shipping fee.

We will not ship to P.O. boxes, APO, or FPO. 

The minimum shipping costs for ammo and accessories are $9.00.  We will ship free if you buy $200.00 or more.

When checking out of your cart you will pick an FFL of your choice to have the firearm sent to.  If your FFL is not on the list have them contact us via email with their FFL and your contact information. Contact them to let them know a shipment is coming.

All handguns will be shipped 2nd day Air, while all long guns, accessories and ammo will be shipped Ground. If you are looking for expedited shipping, contact us and we will provide you with the cost.

FIREARM RETURNS

When receiving the firearm be very observant in inspecting it prior to having the FFL conduct a background check. If there are any defects, the firearm can be returned to us.  We will provide return shipping. The firearm cannot be returned after it has been transferred to you. 

All Dealers charge a transfer fee.  This fee is strictly between you and the Dealer and is not refundable by The Old Soldier.

AMMO AND ACCESSORY RETURNS

Any return of accessories will be between you and the manufacturer.  Ammunition and ammunition component sales are final.

WARRANTY

All new firearm’s warranty are covered by the Manufacturer.  It will vary between them.  Make sure you read the warranty on each firearm you have transferred.  Any issues with new firearms will be dealt with between you and the Manufacturer by contacting them to see if they will provide a shipping label back to them.

All used firearms are guaranteed to be as described.  Insure that you inspect the firearm prior to it being transferred.  We insure the firearm is inspected and checked for functionality, and test fired.  Any issues with used firearms will be dealt with on a case by case basis with The Old Soldier.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Make sure the firearm, ammo or accessories are legal before you place your order. If a law is going to be in effect prior to the transfer, you are still responsible for the purchase. If the firearm, ammo, or accessory is returned for this reason you will be subject to a 20% restocking charge, and return shipping cost to us. If you fail the background check, you are responsible to negotiate with the dealer on the sale of the firearm.  We will not accept returns for this reason.

PRIVACY POLICY

The Old Soldier ensures that all of your information is protected.  The Old Soldier will never sell any of your information. 

INFORMATION THAT WE WILL COLLECT:

  • Any email or information that you fill out on a contact form so we can communicate with you.
  • We may ask you to take an optional survey to make your experience with us better.
  • Any information that you provide when completing your transaction through our web store.
  • The site has the ability to use cookies to help us differentiate you from other customers on our website. 
  • WE DO NOT KEEP OR STORE ANY PERSONAL DATA OTHER THAN WHAT WE HAVE DETAILED ABOVE.
  • WE DO NOT KEEP OR STORE ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
